Working With the Reiki Symbols

One of the significant developments at Level 2 is your introduction to the traditional Reiki symbols.

The symbols provide students with additional tools through which Reiki may be focused and directed according to the intention of the session. You will learn how to work respectfully and confidently with these symbols and begin incorporating them naturally into both your personal Reiki practice and your work with others.

Rather than attempting to control a particular result, Reiki is always offered with the intention of supporting the recipient’s highest good and natural state of balance.

Distance Reiki

Level 2 also introduces the practice of distance Reiki, allowing you to offer Reiki without needing to be physically present with the recipient.

You will learn the principles behind distance Reiki, how to prepare for a session, how to establish an energetic connection and how to conduct a structured distance treatment with appropriate intention, consent and energetic boundaries.

This opens your Reiki practice beyond the limitations of physical location and allows you to work with recipients wherever they may be.

Beginning Reiki for Others

Level 2 marks an important transition from Reiki being primarily a personal self-healing practice to learning how to safely and respectfully offer Reiki to others.

You will be guided through the structure of a Reiki treatment, preparation of the treatment space, energetic hygiene, practitioner boundaries, client comfort, hand positions, intuitive guidance and closing a session.

The emphasis remains on developing confidence through practice while maintaining respect for the recipient and allowing Reiki to flow without attachment to a predetermined outcome.

Your Attunement

Your Level 2 attunement is conducted privately and individually and supports your progression into this deeper level of Reiki practice.

Building on the foundations established in Reiki Levels 1 and 2, this course introduces more advanced methods of working with energy, intention, distance practice and spiritual connection. Students are encouraged to develop greater confidence in their intuitive awareness while continuing to work within the grounded principles of the Usui Reiki system.

This level is not simply about learning additional techniques. It is about deepening your understanding of yourself as a practitioner, refining your energetic awareness and learning to work with Reiki in a more focused, intentional and multidimensional way.

Advanced Distance Reiki

Distance Reiki is explored in greater depth during the Advanced Level.

Building upon the techniques introduced in Level 2, you will develop a more structured and confident approach to working remotely and explore ways of incorporating intention, visualisation, Reiki symbols and intuitive awareness into distance sessions.

You will also learn how to prepare yourself energetically before distance work, maintain clear boundaries during the session and consciously disconnect and ground once the session has been completed.

Energetic “Psychic Surgery”

Advanced Reiki introduces students to the practice often referred to within energy-healing traditions as psychic surgery.

Despite its name, psychic surgery is not a medical or surgical procedure. It is an energetic technique in which visualisation, intention and Reiki are used to work symbolically with areas where stagnant, heavy or unwanted energy may be perceived.

Students are guided through a structured approach to this technique, including preparation, energetic boundaries, intuitive observation, clearing, Reiki treatment and grounding.

The purpose is not to diagnose or treat medical conditions, but rather to provide an additional energetic tool that may be incorporated into a broader Reiki practice.

Manifestation & Conscious Intention

At this level, we also explore the relationship between energy, intention and manifestation.

You will receive a manifestation guide designed to help you clarify what you are calling into your life, understand the energetic patterns that may influence your intentions and develop a more conscious relationship with the thoughts, beliefs and energy you bring to the manifestation process.

Rather than focusing simply on “getting what you want,” the manifestation component encourages alignment between your intentions, actions, beliefs and highest values.

You will explore practices such as:

Angel Links & Archangel Connection

A special component of the Advanced Reiki course is the inclusion of Angel Links to four Archangels.

These energetic initiations are offered as a spiritual practice designed to support students who wish to deepen their personal connection with angelic energy.

You will be introduced to each Archangel individually and explore their traditional energetic qualities, symbolism and areas of spiritual association.

The Angel Links are intended to create a focused energetic connection that you may continue working with through meditation, Reiki, spiritual practice and personal reflection.

Developing the Intuitive Practitioner

One of the most important transitions at Advanced Level is learning to trust the awareness you have developed through your Reiki journey.

Advanced Reiki provides the space to bring these teachings together.

The aim is not to force intuitive experiences, but to become increasingly comfortable observing what you sense, feel or perceive while allowing Reiki to guide the session.

Your Advanced Attunement

The Advanced Reiki attunement forms an important part of this stage of training and supports the student’s progression into deeper energetic work.

Your attunement is conducted privately and individually and may be completed in person or by distance, according to your location and preference.

As with every stage of Reiki training, students are encouraged to allow sufficient time afterward for integration, self-Reiki and reflection.

Course Duration

Advanced Reiki consists of five modules and is generally completed over approximately six weeks when lessons are scheduled weekly.

The additional integration time allows students the opportunity to practise the more advanced techniques, work with their manifestation exercises, explore the Angel Links and develop confidence in the energetic methods introduced during the course.

Teaching Reiki is not about creating students who practise exactly as you do. It is about providing them with a strong foundation, transmitting the teachings responsibly and giving them the confidence to discover how Reiki unfolds uniquely within their own lives.

Learning to Initiate Your Own Students

A central component of Master Teacher Training is learning how to perform Reiki attunements and initiations for your own students.

You will be guided through the process carefully and practically, including:

• Preparing yourself before conducting an attunement

• Preparing the student and the attunement space

• Understanding the energetic intention behind the attunement process

• Learning the relevant Master-level symbols and techniques

• Conducting attunements for the different stages of Reiki training

Some may experience profound physical sensations during an attunement. Others may experience emotional release, imagery, heightened awareness or deep peace. Some may experience very little consciously at all.

As a teacher, your role is not to dictate what a student should experience.

You will learn to create a safe and supportive environment in which students are encouraged to trust their own experience, develop their own energetic awareness and build an independent relationship with Reiki.

The Responsibility of the Reiki Master Teacher

The title of Reiki Master is not intended to suggest mastery over Reiki or over another person.

Rather, it reflects a commitment to the path, the practice and the responsibility of carrying the teachings forward.
